Your Christian Journey

Your Journey with Christ Continues Here at "AskGodForHelp.com."

Your Christian Journey begins with accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Next comes the Christian growth by studying the Word, praying, and fellowshiping with Christians. This journey is a lifetime pursuit of doing and being what Christ would have each of us do. It is your christian journey, is it a journey of faith or fear?

Quotes About Living

Quotes to live by. One of the most well know quotes in the business world is by Malcolm Forbes. He said, "The biggest mistake people make in life is NOT making a living at doing what they most enjoy."

I agree it is importance to seek a vocation you enjoy, but leaving God out of your vocation is not the best decision you will make.

After some thought, I created a quote to ponder. My quote says, “The biggest mistake Christians make in life is NOT living their lives to the fullest in Christ Jesus and being filled with love, joy and peace."

"AskGodforHelp.com"
Our Commitment to you.

You began working towards your future with Christ when you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. That decision symbolized your commitment to serve Him and to love the Lord with all your heart, all of your might, and all of your strength. Faithfulness secures your life with Jesus Christ.

“AskGodForHelp.com” wants to take part in your journey with Christ.

“AskGodForHelp.com” commits to helping you with your Christian journey. We will be a resource for you throughout your Christian journey, providing instructions, stories, testimonials, advice, and support for ways to grow and mature in Christ.

Many of our visitors are growing in Christ by leaps and bounds, and others are struggling. Your stories provide encouragement to both groups. We sincerely want you to share with us what has helped you in your journey with Christ and we also want you to share with us the struggles you have encountered. Tell us about your experiences and how you have overcome your challenges. You probably will never know who you touch with your story at just at the right moment, but God knows.

What Pathway Do You Want?

Hopefully, money is not your only criteria for success. Your definition of success may include having a positive impact on people's lives and your community. After loving the Lord with all your heart comes God’s commandment of loving and helping others. How are you doing in this area of your life?

Whatever you dream, whatever your vision, success can be yours if you commit to Christ and commit seeking Christ in all that you do. Many of us spend 8 hours, 10 hours, and sometimes 12 hours per day working at our jobs, but how many hours per day do we spend with Christ? Is it a quick prayer at meals, a frantic prayer in times of trouble, or going to church on Sunday? If this is you, stop and ask yourself, “How is my growth and maturity in Christ coming along?????”

We both need the help of fellow believers.

Your journey began with the prayer of asking God for forgiveness. And it's about to continue with the next story you share or the next story you hear.

Are you ready to move along your path of Christian fellowship by serving the Lord Jesus Christ?

The All-Important First Steps
of the Christian Journey.

Step #1: Asking God for forgiveness and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior is the first step in your rewarding Christian journey. Forgiveness removes the separation from God.

Step #2: Asking God to guide you on your journey. The Christian journey is just too difficult for most of us on our own. We need help. When Jesus ascended into heaven to be with the Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to be our guide, our teacher, our comforter, our counselor, and to strengthen us daily. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your helper.

Step #3: Seek fellowship with other Christians in church, in study groups, and fellowship. We soon learn that each of us struggle on our journey. It helps to know that we are not alone and that we can reach out to others for help.

Step #4: Study God’s word to know what He wants you to be and to do. Many, many questions are answered in the Bible. Paul said to become a new person in Christ Jesus. He was talking about rebuilding our thinking, our emotions, our intellect, and our will. These are our soul. Rebuilding the soul requires a lot of study, prayer, meditation and most of all, a great desire to be like Christ. It is a lifetime journey. So climb aboard, we will travel together.

Step #5: Seek the Holy Spirit. Jesus said he would ask the Father and he would send another comforter, the Holy Spirit. Get to know the Holy Spirit through prayer and studying the Word of God.

As you begin this New Year, 2017, make this commitment: “Be All You Can Be in Christ Jesus.” We ask God to help you on Your Christian Journey.
